Indian batsman KL Rahul and his wife Athiya Shetty recently organized an auction.
The auction was conducted under the name ‘Cricket for Charity’ for the Vipla Foundation. Autographed items of players like Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul were auctioned.
Virat Kohli has left Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni behind in this auction.
A total of 1.93 crore rupees has been collected for this auction, and the work of education of disabled children will be done from this amount.

This time, Virat Kohli’s jersey created a stir in the auction.
A jersey signed by Virat Kohli fetched the highest bid of Rs 40 lakh.
In this charity auction, star cricketer Virat Kohli’s items were sold the most expensively. Apart from his signed jersey, his batting gloves fetched a bid of Rs 28 lakh.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma’s autographed items were also booming!!!
Indian captain Rohit Sharma’s bat was sold for Rs 24 lakh and batting gloves for Rs 7.5 lakh.

Former India captain MS Dhoni’s bat fetched a bid of Rs 13 lakh, while MS Dhoni’s gloves fetched Rs 3.50 lakh.
Former head coach Rahul Dravid’s bat was sold for Rs 11 lakh.
KL Rahul’s Test jersey was bought for Rs 11 lakh. Rahul’s bat fetched Rs 7 lakh and the helmet fetched Rs 4.20 lakh.
Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah’s jersey fetched a bid of Rs 8 lakh.
Rishabh Pant’s bat fetched Rs 7.5 lakh and wicket-keeping gloves fetched Rs 3.5 lakh.
The test jersey of spinner R Ashwin sold for Rs 4.20 lakh.
Shreyas Iyer’s bat was bought for Rs 2.80 lakh, Ravindra Jadeja’s jersey for Rs 2.40 lakh, Quinton de Kock’s jersey for Rs 1.10 lakh, Sanju Samson and Yuzvendra Chahal’s jersey for Rs 50 thousand.
Jos Buttler’s IPL jersey was bought for Rs 55 thousand.
West Indies cricketer Nicholas Pooran’s IPL jersey has fetched the lowest price at the auction. For this, only 45 thousand rupees were bid.
Virat Kohli has left Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni behind in this auction.
Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni’s bats were also included in this auction. But Virat’s jersey was sold more expensively. 24 lakhs for Rohit’s bat and 13 lakhs for Dhoni’s bat. Together, both of these fetched a bid of Rs.37 lakh. Virat’s jersey alone fetched 40 lakh rupees. 3 lakh more than the bids for Rohit and Dhoni bats.

There is a huge craze for cricket in India. Fans are eager to meet legends like Virat-Rohit. If they get their things, it will be nothing short of a dream for the fans. So in KL Rahul’s auction, there was a lot of bidding on the stuff of these great cricketers.
Launched by KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty, Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson also participated in the campaign. Also, international cricketers like Jos Buttler, Quinton de Kock and Nicholas Pooran became part of the campaign.
Informing about the charity auction, Athiya Shetty said, “Rahul and I are delighted to announce our first ever charity auction ‘Cricket for a Cause’ to benefit the Vipla Foundation”.
The proceeds from the auction will go to Vipla Foundation’s Special School for Hearing Impaired and Intellectually Handicapped Children.
