Talking about the match, Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 182 runs while batting first at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. In this Virat Kohli contributed 83 runs not out while Cameron Green scored 33 runs for KKR Andre Russell took two wickets for 29 runs.
Chasing a target of 183, KKR scored 186 runs in 16.5 overs. Venkatesh Iyer scored a half-century for KKR while Sunil Narine contributed an explosive 47 runs while Shreyas Iyer also scored 39 runs.
The said match was West Indies player Sunil Narine’s 500th t-20 match.
Similarly, Andre Russell also crossed the milestone of 100 IPL wickets in this match and became the first fast bowler to do so for KKR. Similarly, Russell became the first overseas player in IPL history to score 100 wickets and more than 2000 IPL runs.
